I have participated in various collaborations and research projects spanning rocket science, territorial border conflict, and the environment. These projects reflect the diversity of my interests and past experiences.

Collaborations

Land Protectors | UR 2023-2024

Participating Artist

A multidisciplinary team of University of Rochester students studying across the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences, will make art in and about the Genesee Valley Park Barrier that was once slated to become a parking lot. Using music, performance, and visual art, they will highlight the environmental, spiritual, and cultural value of green spaces... forming a portfolio of arts-based evidence to be used to foster appreciation for the protected land and to preemptively shield it from future threats of development.

Territory and Conflict Research Project | 2023

Political Science Research Assistant

Professor Hein Goemans, an expert on war termination and initiation, is continuing his research on Territory and Conflict. Tracing the history of borders through changing maps in South America (an ideally circumscribed case study), this project explores the impact of internalized national identity on territorial conflict. I acted as a research assistant in 2023, performing specialized techniques in ArcGIS Pro and recording and interpreting data on Ecuador for analyses. More information available on request.

"NASA Student Launch is a research-based, competitive, and experiential exploration challenge that provides relevant and cost-effective research and development to support the Space Launch System, or SLS, and Artemis missions. The activity involves reaching a broad audience of middle and high schools, colleges, and universities across the nation in a nine-month commitment to design, build, test and launch vehicle and payload components that support SLS and Artemis."
